The music, which will make you feel like dancing, voices full of emotions, and the atmosphere of hot Spanish nights – this is the best calling card of this weekend, which will take place on 23rd and 24th July at the Sphere of Silence Festival. A musical journey to the Iberian Peninsula will begin on Saturday morning with a concert within the "Melomaluszki" series, and will be full of - of course - Spanish rhythms. The main event of the weekend will be the show of the Saturday evening star – the band of Corazón Flamenco.
Corazón Flamenco consists of masters of this most Spanish of all dances. Their performances are the essence of the true flamenco – they are a combination of dancing, singing, guitar sounds and unique choreography. All of these elements together make up a magnificent spectacle, which is prepared and played with the heart – Spanish corazón. The band has been performing since 2006 and, besides the traditional flamenco genres, plays tango, bolero, and rumba. Corazón Flamenco will perform on Saturday at 7.00 PM on the Purple Stage at the Temple of the Sybil.
On Saturday and Sunday, the youngest music lovers can listen to the Spanish rhythms played by Carmen Azuar, Iwona Skrzos, Andrzej Lewocki, Anika Kaminska, and Tomasz Kaszubowski (concerts within the "Melomaluszki" series – at 10.00 AM, 11.00 AM, 12.00 PM, 3.00 PM, 4.00 PM and 5.00 PM, the Yellow Stage). The music of the Spanish composers as well as the songs inspired by Spain, its culture and dancing, will be performed on other Festival stages. Performers: the duo of Alexander Wilgos (guitar) and Michał Buczkowski (violin), Morpheus Saxophone Quartet, Mateusz Rulski, and a soprano Dorota Szczepańska who will be accompanied by Leszek Potasiński (guitar). Sunday Concerts with Chopin's music are also included in the program of the Spanish weekend – Adam Kośmieja and Katarzyna Kraszewska will perform.
In accordance with the festival tradition, the Open Stage (on Saturday and Sunday from 1.00 PM to 3.00 PM) is available to the public (registration: koncert@muzykajest.pl).
