We invite visitors to the second concert of the Chinese Lanterns Festival, which will feature a subtle Japanese Buyo dance performed by a well known dancer – Hana Umeda. It will be enriched with songs played by Anna Krysztofiak on Japanese instruments, as well as a performance by Vlastislav Matoušek. The great flute player from Prague has already performed for the Festival audience last year, when he enchanted the listeners with his music.
The huge taiko drums will certainly be an attraction of the evening. The audience will also have an opportunity to see an improvisation with the shakuhachi flute and the Japanese kato.
The following artists will perform:
Hana Umeda – Buyo dance;
Vlastislav Matousek – shakuhachi;
Anna Krysztofiak – koto, sanshin, shamisen, yakumogoto, taiko drums, singing;
Janusz Kowalewski – taiko drums.
