Album bound from typewritten pages, drawings, and pasted photographic prints.
Compiled by Albert Wild, a gardener employed by the General Government to oversee work at the Belvedere between 1940 and 1942, this album combines a report on completed tasks with an illustrated study. It includes a historical section, descriptions of gardening work, plant lists, and illustrative material — photographs of garden views and general drawings. The garden is depicted as a space subordinated to the occupying forces and incorporated into a process of ideological appropriation.
