Striped field mouse
Apodemus agrarius
Just after the squirrel, the striped field mouse is the most common rodent in the Royal Łazienki. It is a small mouse which has a small dark strip running along the centre of the spine. In the ivies of the Łazienki park, there are numerous mouse metropolises where these rodents are present. They give them protection against predators such as foxes or hooded crows. It likes feeding on seeds brought by visitors.
