Common hepatica
Hepatica nobilis
In early spring, the common hepatica from the buttercup family reigns in our gardens. Especially the grounds near the canal on the side of Gagarina Street are decorated with these charming flowers in purple and blue colour. The white and pink rods that surround small, inconspicuous pistils are particularly admired. It is also worth noting that, at the beginning of flowering, these plants don’t have formed leaves yet.
