European honey bee
Apis mellifera
Honey bees are the most known pollinator among insects. Everyone knows how beneficial the bee is. In our gardens, you can see it mainly on flowered rebates in front of the Environmental Education Centre or in the Orangery Garden, where there is an abundance of nectariferous plants from which bees can collect nectar and pollen. Thanks to many hairs on the body, it pollinates our plants, contributing to their reproduction.
