Japanese music and martial arts in the Royal Theatre
The ‘Gagaku and Budo’ show of Japanese court music and martial arts was held on 7 February 2017 in the Royal Theatre. The event was organised by the Meiji Jingu shrine from Tokyo. Watch the photo coverage.

Visitors to the Palace on the Isle can now see the royal bedchamber, which as a result of revitalization resembles the one from the times of Stanisław August. Now, we can admire historical furniture that was refurbished with highest care, including the ruler’s canopy bed and richly adorned silk wall panels.
MoreMarionette Theatre. "La serva padrona" opera
Visitors are invited to a special performance – "La serva padrona" (Servant Turned Mistress), which will be shown in the Royal Theatre as a marionette opera. Almost one metre tall marionettes will "act" – brought to life with the hands of animators and voices of outstanding soloists.

From July until 4 December, the 17th century work of art showing an interior of a gallery of paintings by Gonzales Coques and unidentified Antwerp artists will be displayed in the Palace on the Isle. It is the most interesting example of a specific genre of painting art - gallery paintings.

The Old Orangery adapted to the needs of people with disabilities - is a project for which the Royal Łazienki received a prize in the "Warsaw without Barriers" competition organised by the Friends of Integration Association. The distinction was awarded during the Great Gala of Integration, which was held on 19 November 2016 in the Ursynów Arena.

Saturday with Andersen’s tales, workshops for children featuring animations and games, lectures on Danish culture, screening of "A Royal Affair", as well as free museum lessons – these will be the main attractions of the 4th Education Festival, which will be held in the Royal Łazienki until 27 October 2016.

The Polish culture has been granted over 192 million euros from the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism. These funds have made possible the execution of numerous projects, including the reconstruction and conservation of valuable monuments. To summarise this European contribution, a conference was held on 27 September 2016 in the Royal Theatre of the Old Orangery.
MoreA newly hatched peacock in the Royal Łazienki. For the first time in a few years
The Royal Łazienki has had a new resident. It is a peacock which hatched from an egg in natural habitat in mid-August. The young bird is healthy and has a good appetite. It enjoys eating boiled eggs and potatoes.
