Come and enjoy a concert during which pieces of François Couperin, a French baroque music composer, will be performed.
The Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense – the Historic Instruments Ensemble of the Warsaw Chamber Orchestra – will be conducted by Władysław Kłosiewicz.
The ensemble is formed of young musicians who have completed studies in the field of historic music at leading European universities and excelled in playing copies of historic instruments. A very rich and constantly developed set of instruments enables them to perform, in accordance with the principles of the historic style, a repertoire originating from approximately year 1600, through late baroque to the classical period.
The Concert is held as part of ‘Baroque in the Royal Theatre’ series, which aims at popularising the Baroque music.
Tickets are already available at the ticket offices of the Royal Łazienki (standard ticket – PLN 50, reduced and student tickets – PLN 30).
