The ‘Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense’ Historic Instruments Ensemble of the Warsaw Chamber Opera – is formed of musicians who have completed studies in the field of historic music at leading European universities and excelled in playing copies of historic instruments. A very rich and constantly developed set of instruments enables them to perform, in accordance with the principles of historic style, a repertoire originating from around year 1600, through late Baroque to the classical period.
