Come and see the exhibition devoted to Joseph Conrad, writer belonging to the forefront of literature of the late 19th and early 20th century. The exhibition will be held in the Open-Air Gallery by Al. Ujazdowskie avenue in Warsaw, from 29 April to 31 May 2017.
The display, which has been prepared for the celebration of the "Year of Conrad", addresses the outstanding English writer with Polish roots (he was born Józef Teodor Konrad Korzeniowski). The comic-style exhibition will present the life and work of Conrad as well as his influence on modern culture – clearly visible in film adaptations Victory and Apocalypse Now, films directed by Ridley Scott, songs by Bob Dylan and Taboo television series.
The exhibition has been prepared by Krzysztof Ostrowski (graphics) and Robert Zieliński (script).
