You are invited to a concert by the Young Polish Philharmonic Orchestra, which will inaugurate the summer concert tour of the popular orchestra. Conducted by Adam Klocek, the musicians will present new original compositions. The VOŁOSI quintet will be the special guest.
The Young Polish Philharmonic Orchestra is composed of 43 gifted musicians aged between 15 and 24, students of music schools and music academies, selected during nationwide auditions. It functions as a project of the Zwierciadło Foundation, whose aim is to promote classical music among young people.
The artistic director and conductor of the Young Polish Philharmonic is an outstanding musician, Adam Klocek, originator and co-author of the "Night in Calisia" album, which won the Grammy 2014 award in the category of the Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album. He is also the managing director and artistic director of the Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra and the artistic director of the Bronisław Huberman Czestochowa Philharmonic.
Tamara Surman, President of the Zwierciadło Foundation, stresses that the concert of the Young Polish Philharmonic Orchestra in the Amphitheatre will be a true music feast. - This time with our special guest – the VOŁOSI group – we will take you on a journey to the world of classics and jazz with a double portion of mastery, energy and passion. The VOŁOSI group, which will perform in the Royal Łazienki together with the Young Polish Philharmonic Orchestra, has performed in concert venues throughout the world, arousing great enthusiasm among audiences. The music of the band combines modern string sounds with Carpathian tradition as well as rock energy, jazz madness and classic quality.
