Chopin Concerts are organised by Stołeczna Estrada – Warsaw’s institution in charge of culture – in cooperation with the Royal Łazienki. Since w 1959, when Chopin Concerts were organised for the first time, their formula has been changed several times. At present, two classical Chopin recitals are proposed at noon and 4 p.m. on every Sunday from May till September. The right choice of this formula has been reflected by a huge popularity of the concerts in Łazienki, both among tourists and residents of Warsaw – each year the concerts are attended by around 80 thousand listeners. This popularity stems also from the selection of artists who view a performance given in the Royal Łazienki as a honour.
