Director of the Royal Łazienki Museum with the ‘Visionaries of the 21st Century’ prize

Tadeusz Zielniewicz, Director of the Royal Łazienki Museum, was honoured with the ‘Visionaries of the 21st Century’ prize awarded by the ‘Wprost’ weekly. The prize-giving gala was held on 7 December 2016 in the Old Orangery.

The ‘Visionaries of the 21st Century’ prize is awarded to those who in their professional life work with passion, pursue their visions and are success-oriented. This year’s winners have been selected based on a survey conducted among over 40 managers, market experts and figures from the world of culture and science.

The 2016 ‘Visionaries of the 21st Century’ prizes were given to: Izabela Albrychiewicz, President of MEC Poland, Grzegorz Brona, President of CREOTECH, Jarosław Fijałkowski, President of Real2b Development, Przemysław Rasz, President of Icopal, Piotr Woźniak, President of PGNIG, Professor of Medicine Henryk Skarżyński, Director of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, Izabella Wałkowska, President of the Management Board of Plastwil and Tadeusz Zielniewicz, Director of the Royal Łazienki Museum.

According to the jury’s verdict, the prize was awarded to Director Zielniewicz for his professionalism, but also for his perseverance and consistency in developing the Royal Łazienki Museum and its revitalisation. Furthermore, the jury appreciated his achievements which led to Museum’s membership in the prestigious Association of European Royal Residences (Association des Résidences Royales Européennes).

The award ceremony was preceded by a debate ‘From Vision to Implementation’ with the participation of: Professor of Medicine Henryk Skarżyński, Director of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, Piotr Woźniak, President of the Management Board of PGNIG, Przemysław Rasz, President of the Management Board of Icopal, Tadeusz Zielniewicz, Director of the Royal Łazienki Museum and Michał Lisiecki, President of the Management Board of PMPG Polish Media. The participants in the debate talked, among other things, about their professional visions and obstacles they faced when realising their ideas. They also shared their definition of success.
