Following further expert assessments in the historic gardens of the Royal Łazienki Museum, grass rest areas have been designated.

The figure of this eminent writer and politician, one of the most colourful representatives of the Polish Baroque, is presented through a rich collection of artefacts originating from domestic and foreign collections, including exquisite paintings, puzzling drawings and old prints, unique vessels, as well as objects extracted straight from the crypt.

For safety reasons, the historic gardens of the Royal Łazienki Museum will remain closed until further notice. The decision on this matter was made after consultation with the Masovian Provincial Conservator of Monuments and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

MoreExhibition: Discovered Images. Photo Aesthetics of Count Benedykt Henryk Tyszkiewicz (1852–1935)
Nearly 200 original prints, extremely interesting for their photographic qualities, are displayed at the exhibition of the oeuvre of Benedict Henryk Tyszkiewicz, a Polish-Lithuanian aristocrat and photographer. The 19th-century works, which for years were considered lost, come from Lithuanian collections. The exhibition can be visited from 8 December 2023 to 10 March 2024 in the Kubicki Stables.

MoreNew paintings in the collections of the Royal Łazienki
‘Italian Cuisine’ and ‘Peasant’s Home Among the Ruins’ – two 19th-century works by painter Amelia Lepige have been added to the collections of the Royal Łazienki Museum. These are further valuable paintings which contribute to the restoration of the collection of Stanisław August, partly sold by his heirs or lost in the turmoil of war.
