"Museum of Marvels" is a book that reveals the microcosm and macrocosm of the Łazienki world – it will let you experience moments of full visual delight. You will find in it countless beautiful and amusing illustrations to which you can come back on numerous occasions – just like to Łazienki. 

On successive pages of the painting guide to the Royal Łazienki, you will encounter, among others, chickens escaping from a painting, the king bathed in a pink cloud of powder, squirrels dancing among autumn leaves, or a mythological satyr – half man, half goat. All this amidst laughing tourists and busy museum staff. Thanks to the book you will enter historic buildings and discover their extraordinary treasures: a clock in the shape of a birdcage, a fragrant fountain or 18th-century ice cream vases. A whole array of impressions awaits you also in the Łazienki gardens, painted using vivid green colours of spring, depicting the warm rays of summer sun, autumn mist and the red bellies of common bullfinch shown against a background of white snow.

Authors:
Agnieszka Palińska – illustrator, painter, art historian. Graduate of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and of art history and cultural studies of Mediterranean civilisation at the University of Warsaw. She has worked with museums of the capital city for over 10 years. 

Zofia Zaccaria – painter, illustrator, museologist. Graduate of graphic and pedagogical studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Perugia and museology at the University of Warsaw. She works in the Education Department of the Royal Łazienki Museum.
 
Anna Zajda – painter, designer of creative situations and ceramic artist. Organizes wild creative online workshops that help others unlock their painting potential. Her artistic activities can be seen on Instagram.
